First of all, you're pressing the "MP3" button on the left, not the "WAV" button, right? The "MP3" button doesn't necessarily encode to MP3, it encodes to the compressed format you've configured.
I believe there's an option in EAC for you to see the external compressor window. This is very useful, it shows you the current progress of the encoding. However even if you set it not to display, if there is an error, it should come back with a "The external compressor returned an error!" error message. Still, set it to show the external compressor window and you might as well start the compressor as a separate threaded process (see the wiki). That way you'll see the window and see exactly what it's trying to do. -- Mark Lanctot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34610 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
