Yep, I have that sitting in the EAC folder in my program files; but
when EAC is open and I try to change the setup(interface tab) so that
this file is used instead of the microsoft option, it is shown but
unavailable. 

Have you checked this EAC tab on your PC and see if the SCSI interface
is available and is being used?
