I have always used CDex for ripping then, yesterday and today, it wouldn't complete a CD (I was ripping to Ogg) and CDex generated an error and quitted during the rip. I Googled and came up with FreeRip3, installed it,and on ripping the same CD (CD2 of Pink Floyd's The Wall) I got the Blue Screen of Death (OS is Win2K Pro).
I know that many people recommend EAC, so I downloaded that, and can't even get through the installation wizard, as I can't understand this: "First of all it is necessary to install the LAME.EXE into a directory of your choice. Now you need to specify the directory and EXE file of LAME for EAC. You can examine the hard disk using the (browse) button." What is one supposed to do here?? Any help gratefully received with thanks. -- DennyL ------------------------------------------------------------------------ DennyL's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8446 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=36946 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
