Ok, I have a decent enough HiFi (arcam a85 amp, Dynaudio speakers etc) and am thinking of adding a sb3. I currently use itunes to store and manage all my music on my pc for use with an ipod and general pc use as its really easy to use, stick a cd in, rip it to itunes hey presto!
What I want to do is re rip all my music (500+ cds) to a new HD into flac files to use with the SB. My issue is with the ripping and organising of the music. How do I simply rip the music to my HD without having to mess about with editing tags etc? I have no experience with tagging software, cos itunes has organised that for me in the past, so what is the easiest way of creating a music library with flac files, with a folder set up similar to what I am used to using? Am I right in understanding that slimserver could do the organising for me?
