For what it is worth, virtually everyone here at Logitech/Slim Devices rips their CDs to FLAC, and most of us use EAC (though it isn't the most intuitive application) and a few use dBPowerAmp. Since you're likely to be ripping to lossless to maximize quality, I recommend using AccurateRip, as well. It compares your rip to other rips of the same CD by other users and gives you a confidence factor in the accuracy of your rip. Lots of good info on this can be found here: http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?BeginnersGuideToRipping -=> Jim -- JimC "well, she wasn't all of that, but she sure was some of that." -- BKlaas' college buddy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JimC's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9428 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38164 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
