I am in the process (or I should say dbPoweramp is in the process) of recreating my iTunes library in Flac.
I backed up my library did some testing as I have never used dbPoweramp and satisfied with the results proceeded with the conversion. My reasons are simple: Gain problems in iTunes are a major annoyance when playing the squeezbox at poker games next door and when people are over. With no real way to fix them and still have the library available for my wifes iPod, its time for a change. What is the best way to fix up tagging and artwork? Any hints and tips? I have almost never had to deal with this with iTunes so something simple to work with would be nice. Is MP3gain a good way to fix up the track gain?
