I use EAC to rip my CD's to FLAC. If I right click on a track in Windows it will show the bitrate at 1411 kbps (CD) and if I look at the same track in Slimserver it will show 905 kbps (CBR)
Does FLAC always use CBR to encode or can this be changed to VBR ? Not sure but I thought CBR was inferior sound quality wise.
