If you're in a position to use mp3tag then it allows you to add a field called ARTISTSORT or PERFORMERSORTORDER to a 2.3 tag which will sort correctly in SlimServer/SqueezeCenter - I don't know what it maps ARTISTSORT to, but PERFORMERSORTORDER maps to iTunes' artist sort tag.
