Thanks for your replies. I'm certain the file type is changed in the preferences. I could try renaming the album (not currently at the PC with my collection). However, when I first noticed the problem I deleted the corrupted tracks from itunes, as well as the actual files, then reripped the CD. Same thing happened as noted above. Ugh.
