Hello all, i would be grateful for tips on realy good tagging utilitys for Linux (ubuntu) I'm trying to switch to linux* but it is a hustle to find working applications for all your needs.
I have tried Picard Cowbell and ExFalso and experimented with the tagging in a lot off the aviable music players. They all work in some sense but in often bizarre cumbersome and slow ways ? The benchmark for this is tag&rename, which is a PC program that works realy well, fast and intuitive which none off the above linux programs is Maybe Cowbell but it's buggy and doesn't connect to amazon as advertized And Album Art ?? is there a linux app that can handle that ? Please dont hit me in the head with a lot of scripting :-/ a nice program where you can point and click and get tags/images from amazon or amg Best regards Mikael *I tried linux most for a learning experience/preparation before I build my ITX server It's very stable as a SqueezeCenter , so Im giving it shot as my main desktop the logic for this is that my pc wont run vista well and I don't want to fork upp $$$ for a brand new pc or Mac (I would prefer a Mac) Gnome is really ok and the office and web mail etc i s ok to. -- Mnyb ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44055 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
