No that's NOT what I was talking about. There's a setting for each player to handle replay gain for each album/track. Go to PLAYER SETTINGS and pull down in the menu to AUDIO. At the bottom of that page is a setting for VOLUME ADJUSTMENT/REPLAY GAIN which tells the player what to do with track gain settings, which is embedded in the file to change the gain of the file when it's played back but NOT change the actual gain of the file.
