Which is fine, I use WMP for video but foobar or winamp for audio
because they support flac. There's unlikely to be a perfect answer for
you as MS prefer their protocols, Apple prefer theirs and Logitech
prefer open ones. If you're wedded to WMP then you don't really have a
choice but to use WMA lossless. If, however, some of the other factors
I've mentioned are more important then maybe it's worth your while to
switch to a different player, like foobar, winamp or J River.

Not EAC, but some of the other "good" rippers do, I believe, grab
artwork. Personally I use a standalone app for cover art as I find the
fully automated ones (iTunes, WMP, etc) fail at least half of the time
(either they don't find anything or they find the wrong thing).

As far as I know, never tried it personally.

And in response to moley6knipe: no-one's trying to persuade anyone to
do anything - but full knowledge is essential if you want to make the
right decision. I'm just trying to present the facts, decisions aren't
mine to make.
