There's unlikely to be a perfect answer for you as MS prefer their protocols, Apple prefer theirs and Logitech prefer open ones. If you're wedded to WMP then you don't really have a choice but to use WMA lossless. If, however, some of the other factors I've mentioned are more important then maybe it's worth your while to switch to a different player, like foobar, winamp or J River.

Personally I use a standalone app for cover art as I find the fully automated ones (iTunes, WMP, etc) fail at least half of the time (either they don't find anything or they find the wrong thing). > > For that matter, is EAC supported under Vista? > As far as I know, never tried it personally. And in response to moley6knipe: no-one's trying to persuade anyone to do anything - but full knowledge is essential if you want to make the right decision. I'm just trying to present the facts, decisions aren't mine to make. -- radish ------------------------------------------------------------------------ radish's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=77 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=46621 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list ripping@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
