Ok, a few questions - what OS are you running (windows/mac/linux?) and what version of Squeezecenter?
Are you using Itunes or MusicIP integration? What format are the files? Do they have DRM (Itunes downloaded for example)? If you can see them in Browse Music Folder, can you play them from there? Couple of things occur to me - either the scan is failing for some reason (what antivirus are you using - it can block the scan) and the music isn't being imported, or the tags are wrong. If the tags are wrong, the songs should be in the music library, just perhaps not where you expect. Squeezecenter should try to guess the tags based on your library organisation. However, if they are coming up ok in MediaMonkey, Squeezecenter should see them fine. Have a look in the scanner log - Server Settings/Advanced/Status and see if there are any error messages when you try and do a full clear and rescan.
