I have been using Album Art Aggregator
http://team.thenexusnet.com/nexus/AAA/.

It is free, simple, will do batch stuff (hit ctrl-A & it will grab art
for everything, if it can find it).

You can then arrow-key down through the tracks looking at the images.
Double-click pulls up the 3 most likely images, and double-clicking on
one of those substitutes it for whatever's already there.

If nothing was found, double-clicking on the album pulls up the info-
modifying that (eg, deleting "disc 1" in the title) and hitting return
often finds art. (note: this does not affect your tags- it's only the
search field. this is not a tagging application).

I don't think the program embeds art in tags, and it saves the art as
"cover.jpg" in the folder for the album (I think it also requires that
the folder structure be artist/album, but not sure).

Anyway, it got me through many 100's of albums fast; then I could go
back & edit at leisure.

Media Monkey also does this, maybe better, and does tags (but it used
to mess up your files by overwriting them with tags... this has been
fixed, but, well... AAA doesn't mess with tags at all. That said, MM is
very nice.

PS: I used AAA, then noted what art was missing or needed fixing as I
scrolled around with my Duet controller. Once I fixed stuff, the
controller didn't reflect the changes... confusing. The trick is to do
a hard reset of the controller. Pulling from another post, do the
following and then the controller will reload its album art cache:
