You really need to stop and think about how YOU will be wanting to access this music in the future. Is the fact that the music came in this humungous lump relevant to how you will be wanting to listen to it? Are you going to be thinking "Right, I really want to listen to my 170 Mozart CDs tonight", or are you going to think "hmm, I fancy a classical symphony. Maybe some Mozart? What was that early one that sounded surprisingly good?" If its anything like the latter then the box set is pretty much irrelevant ot you. You've ripped it in directories which match the CDs, by the sound of it, so if you ever do want to go back to that then you can always "Browse Music Folder". But for mainstream listening you need to focus on the music, not the CDs it came on. I really do strongly recommend setting "Album" to be the name of the work (eg Symphony). SC will be much friendlier to you that way. Consider using some of the other tags, and erland's plugins, to help you find the piece you want.
