Some other suggestions for you:

1) Setup dbpoweramp to truncate all date information besides year.  The
way dbpoweramp stores the date if it isn't a year is funky. 
Squeezeserver will put the tracks in unknown if there isn't a properly
formated date.

2) I found it easier to just get rid of disc numbers all togethor, they
causes squeeze center to get confused with albums that are named exactly
the same.  ie) I had 50+ "Greatest Hits" albums and the first cover art
was shared with all of them because they had a disc number assigned
even though they were a single disc not a set.
