I guess your problem is in the Last.fm plugin, which will only send ARTIST and ALBUM and GENRE tags when scrobbling.
It would be better if it sent all ARTIST, COMPOSER, CONDUCTOR and BAND information, so you can tag your library properly without lumping everything into ARTIST.
