I have been enjoying my squeezeboxes for some time now, and have migrated from Winodws, to a kurobox, and finally a couple years ago to a Mac mini. I've copied all the music over, and everything is basically working fine, but -
Initially, I started ripping to MP3, then after reading the forums and learning more, I switched to FLAC with EAC. Over the years, not all my music goty ripped consistently, and I definitely have issues with tags - alot of artists are showing up under Various, and genres are pretty screwed up, years are off, and there is alot of housekeeping I really should do. Now everything is on the mini. I am very happy with MAX for ripping, and am trying to learn TAG to edit and clean up a bunch of tags, but it seems like there are not alot of other options or tools on the Mac. Are there any other Mac only users that could give a little advice - I have about 300g of files that I thought I would go through and clean-up/re-organize, but its looking like a major PITA - Do I really need to move everything back to a windows machine to have access to a variety of tools, or am I missing something?
