I looked at the extended tags and there were none for Album Artist nor Composer. I got a hex editor and looked at the MP3's and found that these fields are indeed stored in the file but it appears that only Itunes looks at them. After more playing around, I found out what is going on, but I still dont know why it is happening. The "double post" of the album title was not Squeeze Center displaying two text fields of the Album, but was SC displaying a PICTURE of the name of the album followed by a text field of the Album. I have no idea how the picture logic got so screwed up. But I went into MP3Tag and found that you can embed a picture into each file (I believe that is what it allows). So I performed that act and I am now somewhat satisfied. The album art for the Album doesnt show up on my remote (It does show up in SC) but the art shows up for each song on the remote which is good. >Do you have the iTunes integration plug-in active? I dont know what that is. This was my second Itunes experience. My first was buying an Audio Book which had DRM slime all over it. My goal was to listen to it in my MP3 (non Ipod) player while working out. Finally, after dinking for many hours, I was able to get it into an MP3 form that can be used on my player. And now this latest fiasco. I dont know how cheap Itunes would have to price their albums in order for me to dive into their pool of crap again. Thanks for your help, everybody.
