I spent about a week and a half building the database on a MusicIP 1.8
headless install which I've been enjoying for a couple of months now.
In the interim, I've been tagging and moving around file and updating
the mix via spicefly's modified Web UI.

I installed gnome and nx on the server so I can run the gui mode
natively and archive the tags. I'm concerned that my changing the tags
after the initial scan will result in consistent tags being written to
the songs. I'm unclear how MusicIP identifies files without the tag
data.

Their technology is awesome if inconsistent. I've had it mix for hours
intelligently, but I've had it bring up seemly random songs other
times.

Has anyone had bad experiences writing MusicIP info to tags?
