I'm up to 435 CDs ripped into FLAC and counting. I'd like to have albums sorted alphabetically by the artist's last name, have discovered that the ALBUMSORT tag is the ticket. For example, it appears I can get Wile E. Coyote's album "Acme Gadgets" to appear under "C" artists with ALBUMSORT=Coyote, Wile E.
I'm not looking forward to editing several hundred file tags to make this so. Is there a tool out there that can ease the pain e.g., provide me a list of ALBUMARTISTS and let me select which of these should obtain lastname-first ALBUMSORT tag on the associated albums (and suggest a lastname-first tag based on the ALBUMARTIST)?
