Re tagging - I find it much easier in fact, for the reasons I posted above (obviously while you were posting simultaneously!) Re individual MP3s - I simply load the CUE file into the converter, highlight the track I want, and convert it. I've not encountered a converter program that doesn't understand my FLAC+CUE combinations.
