For FLAC: Set ARTIST correctly. Set ALBUMARTIST for albums you want to be treated as single-artist (i.e. real single artist and "artist + guest" albums). Leave it unset for true compilations. Set COMPILATION=1 for compilations.
That last step is mainly to help 3rd party apps, SC doesn't (usually) need it.
