I am running SC 7.3.2 on Linux. A few days ago, I installed CustomScan to gain some flexibility in the information which I can see in the display of my SB3 when playing music (I want to see ALBUMARTIST). This works nicely and configuring the plug-in is even rather simple to understand. But then I saw one bug: if there are special characters (like ä,ö,ü,é,è,...) in the ALBUMARTIST they would be wrongly shown by the tags added by CustomScan. SC itself does show them correctly, if they are used in tags SC supports out-of the box. Hence, I believe CustomScan has a problem with coding of special characters. Does anyone else have this problem? Or even better, does anyone have a solution?
