Yes, CustomScan is one of Erland's plug-ins. And as I said before I believe the plug-in is the problem, not SC. SC does everything right, only the things added by CustomScan will show wrong characters. I am unsure if the problem only occurs with diacritics. May be there are other characters which are wrong, but I do not have tags with these (I could test it... ;-) ).
