I've just ripped some CDs -- Villa Lobos Complete String Quartets. The set is a compilation of individual recordings (all same artist) compiled and re-released as a set.
After ripping (and scanning with SC) I realized some of the tags were wrong, a legacy from the original releases -- didn't always have disk number in the disk name, inconsistent listing of artist, etc. Fixed with MP3 Tag. The tags are now all correct, and even WMP picks up the correct tags. But not SC. No matter what I do, the disk name and other data shown in the SC screen (on the computer) show the "old" tags, which actually no longer exist. Obviously it's what is in the database, and the files are not being rescanned when requested, because the tag changes don't flag the file as requiring "rescanning". Or something like that. How do I get the correct tags to be reflected in SC?
