The main thing is to only extract the linear PCM 2-channel stereo files (usually these will be 24/96 but can be up to 24/192) from the DVD-A... you don't want the 5.1 files, they won't play on an SB. It shows you on the screen which files are which on the DVD-A. You also need to be running at least 7.3.2 of Squeeze Server - and not using a NAS that can't run SOX! There is no need to reduce the quality of the files. Let SOX handle everything at playback.
