When you browse by albums in the web interface and sort by artist (e.g. 'Artist, Year, Album') where do you see the album? When you open the album in the web interface (to where you see the track listing), do you see 'Compilation: Yes' shown at the top of the page, under 'Album: ...', 'Year: ...'? If not, then the album isn't being classified as a compilation for some reason. That will keep it from being listed under Various Artists, but I would expect it to show up somewhere else when browsing albums sorted by artist - maybe under the artist from the first track. > The only thing I would like to see is when browsing by Artist is the > list of compilation CDs under "Various Artists". Right. > I've tried it with ALBUMARTIST tag as Various Artists and no ALBUMARTIST > tag at all. I've also tried with COMPILATION tag as both 1 and 0. The COMPILATION=1 tag is only really needed for multi-disc compilations (due to a quirk in Squeezebox Server), other albums should be detected as compilations if the ARTIST tags differ. > I have the three settings under compilations as: Make sure you run a full clear/rescan after changing tags or settings. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=69335 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
