Did you really mean HDCD ? not DVD -Audio ?

I have only an indirect solution for you.

For DVD Video discs with 24/96 content i Use "DVD Audio Extractor"
For DVD-Audio discs i use "DVD-Audio Explorer"

These are obviously windows applications, with UI's horrible even by
win95 standards but they work.

These programs can be set to produce WAV files

Now you have a Mac ,but I run these programs under wine on my Linux
machine.

I now that wine can be installed on a Mac, so it should be possible.
