i think the best way to do it, (the way i've done it btw), is to rip to wav with EAC or some ripper. then simply copy the wavs into audacity one after the other, and audacity joins them together (as i recall, ...i think this was automatic more or less, if not very easy to figure out) then export the whole thing as a wav as a single file, and convert the new wav to flac. (i don't really like/trust the way audacity makes flacs)
