I don't use iTunes and Squeeze together as I have my music in 2 distinct separate libraries (FLAC for Squeeze quality at home, MP3 for max compression for travel). I have found that iPod and Iphone don't match with iTunes in some information handling and aren't consistent with Squeeze.
albumartist is not always albumartist but sometimes band (the TPE2 tag). On SBS webui you can set the meaning in the My Music tab of Settings. If SBS recognises this as Albumartist then for that album, album artist takes 'priority' over the individual track artists. I then set Album Sort Method to "artist, Year, Album" and music is sorted by albumartist (if present).
