I see I'm not alone at feeling conflicted about Apple I-Tunes. I've got a windows 7 laptop. My last laptop crashed & this is the new replacement.
My real problem (but I wanted to keep this simple) is that I can no longer get Music IP Magic Mixer (MMM) to work well with the squeezebox server. MMM was able to take any of the songs out of the library and make a mix within given settings around a particular song without me having to search the entire data base manually. I see I tunes can kind of do the same thing (but not as slickly). MMM is no longer supported. The help line said it is not stable and sometimes people can get it to work and sometimes they can't.
