I recently did some 24/96 needle-drops, Apple Lossless in iTunes on my
Mac, though I realise they will only be 24/48 in reality, but that's
fine for the moment, until I can afford a Touch.

When I did a 'rescan for new and changed music' only 2 of the 20 tracks
were found using 7.5.1, they play fine, and the DAC states they are
24/48.

I already posted in the 'SqueezeboxServer' section thinking this was a
scanning problem, and was advised to check the file tags etc, and was
told how to but embarrassingly I still don't understand that
procedure.

I tried going back to 7.4.2 but that has a problem with Apple Lossless
24bit, so I'm back to 7.5.1 but no further forward really.

Is SoX the only way, and how do attach it to SBS in layman's terms?
Thanks.
