I've built a number of playlists with Foobar...all containing mp3 files, to date. The playlists are stored in m3u file format and they all play just fine on the Touch.
This morning I tried to build a very small (2 tracks just to try it) playlist (also stored as m3u) of FLAC 24/88.1 and 24/96 tracks that I've downloaded from HDtracks. After building the playlist, saving, and doing the rescan playlists on SBS, something odd occurs: On my Touch the HD playlists, themselves, and the track contents all show up but when I go to play the tracks from the playlist, all I get is static. When I open the same playlists in Foobar, they play without a problem. The same HD tracks all play perfectly on the Touch when accessed from the other functions (Albums, etc) so I know there's not any issue with the Touch's ability to play them. So, it only has something to do with playing these tracks from the playlist. Obviously, I'm missing something.....Assistance, as always is much appreciated! -- rgro Rick System information ------------------------ Touch w/Hardware V 5, SBC running 7.5.1 r9009.
