After giving this more thought I believe the disc may be copy ptotected. EAC was the program I attempted to use to rip. As stated earlier the disc plays in CD and DVD players just does not work on the computer. It is clean. In looking at the disc there is a 1/6" clear band just inside the outside edge which I have not noticed on other CDs.
