I used EAC for awhile before switching to dbPA. For me, the main advantages are 1) it's faster, and 2) multiple encodings. I rip everything to FLAC for my main in-house SB library, but keep a duplicate library in MP3 format, for quick-n-easy copying to portable players. Using EAC involved two steps; dbPoweramp's multi-encoder lets me do the whole thing at once. That was the main reason I switched.
(Disclaimer: I'm talking about EAC from a couple years ago; I don't know what new features might have been added since.) -- Dogberry2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dogberry2's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18883 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=84218 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
