For reasons I won't bore you with, I recently had to reinstall SBS on my
QNAP after a major 'hang'. I remembered having fewer 'issues' with
7.5.0 so I decided to revert back to this version from 7.5.2 via a
fresh install.

After an otherwise successful reinstallation and full scan of my
library, I find that approx. 90% of the embedded album art is not
displaying on either the SBS webui or the Duet controller.

The album art shows fine for all albums when tagging in either mp3tag
or MediaMonkey. Previously, all album art appeared as expected in SBS
so I must have a different setting somewhere but damned if I can
identify it.

Equipment as follows:
SBS 7.5.0 installed via SSOTS
QNAP TS-239 Pro
Squeezebox Duet

Tagging
embedded album art using mp3tag or MediaMonkey
mixture of mp3 (ID3v2.3) and flac

Settings
resample artwork enabled
pre-cache artwork enabled
(thought I was sure that this was the previous setting when running
7.5.2)

I've checked the scanning log and there are numerous identical lines as
follows:

getCoverArt (164) warning: Argument "isn't numeric in numeric
comparison (<=>) at
/share/MDo_DATA/.qpkg/SSOTS/var/home/SqueezeboxServer/Slim/Formats/mp3.com
line 167

There doesn't appear to be a pattern as to which album covers are being
displayed. For example, I have classical albums that are split into
notional separate albums by work, all with the same cover art embedded.
One of the notional albums displays the artwork and the others don't!!

Any help greatly appreciated.

Gordon
