You keep saying that, but... If you have an album like this: ALBUM: All The Roadrunning Artist: Mark Knopfler Artist: Emmylou Harris ALBUMARTIST Mark Knopfler & Emmylou Harris I find it VERY useful to set COMPILATION = 0 on such albums, to avoid the presence of multiple Artists from triggering any VA processing in SBS. I really don't care what Winamp, iTunes or any other software might or might not do with those tags, since there is NO standard that is 100% implemented or even recognised... and I ONLY use SBS as a player. IF I switched to another player, I would invest the time (if any) in reorganising my tags accordingly, using MP3Tag. In the meantime if you are using SBS as your primary player, I strongly suggest that people pander to its tag proclivities and enjoy the music rather than agonising over deviations from a (non-existant) tagging standard :-) -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
