It's mentioned in the comments, but I'm not sure that was ever within the bug's scope. That bug is mostly (or completely?) fixed. It works in the web interface, and now with the onebrowser work, the setting at Settings > Advanced > Album Sort Method works throughout the SqueezePlay interface. This problem is: 1. Dates are stored as numeric year values, so there's no ability to set finer grained dates to have albums released in the same year chronologically ordered. 2. The workaround that many people have used doesn't work well for him because he wants browsing albums to be sorted by album name. * The solution within SBS would be to store and sort dates as strings instead of numbers and permit something longer than four digits. (* Personally, I can't see why anyone ever wants to browse albums by name. If I have an album in mind that I want to play, yeah, I know its name, but I'd have to browse through a list of 2700 albums to find it. I also know the artist's name, so it's much easier to scroll through my list of 900 artists and then select the album.
