personally, i believe in keeping it simple. now some on here HATE my method, but i see it as sensible and is universally supported.
one folder = one album/piece of media = one CD = how i do it. no disc tags. and in the album tag i will put things like " (CD1)" so for example, Led Zeps double album is: Physical Graffiti (CSR Disc 1) and Physical Graffiti (CSR Disc 2) [CSR is just a note i put for "Complete Studio Remasters/Recordings"] and in that way, 2 cds = 2 folders = 2 albums. some define album as the title, but i define it as the physical media. besides, what if you only had one cd of it? how would that system cope with "half an album?" mine does. i also like seeing the art twice, b/c that lets me know its two CDs. i wouldn't want to do it any other way. -- MrSinatra www.lion-radio.org using: sb2 & droid (my home) / duet & ipeng (parents' home) - sbs 7.5.5b - win7 ie9 & xp pro sp3 - p4(ht) 3.2ghz, 2gig ram - 1tb wd usb2 raid1 - d-link dir-655 - 49k+ mp3/flac ::VOTE FOR 'BUG 15604' (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=15604)!!!:: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MrSinatra's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2336 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91551 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
