and of course I wouldn't rip a bunch of albums that are "unknown" and then wait to figure out later what they are. That would be a disaster (you'd end up with a single unknown artist, unknown album with all the tracks mixed together (i.e., you'd have lots of track 1, track 2, etc.). If you rip a CD and you see in the log that it is unknown, as soon as the rip is done, you should then open these files in mp3tag, make your edits using the info from the CD.
