The only caution I would make about the folder structure recommended by
arthurb is that Windows has a maximum path length of 256 characters,
including the drive (e.g. D:\) and all the "\" characters.

With a highly nested structure it is very easy to approach and even
exceed that, especially with some of the long track names in, e.g.,
Operas, Bach Cantatas, etc, etc.

To make things worse, EAC (+FLAC) can actually rip to longer than the
maximum path length causing significant problems, as I know to mu cost.
(I don't know whether the same happens with dbPowerAmp.)

Moral of the story - be cautious!

PS I'm sure there are other methods but periodically I use a simple
batch file (shown below) to write the paths to a text file, then load
that into Excel and use the LEN(cell) formula to give me the path
lengths, which I can then sort in descending order.

Code:
--------------------

REM change drive to drive containing music library folder
REM substitute your drive letter for F:
  F:
REM change 'active' folder to music library
  CD\Music_Library
REM Write paths of all files to text file located in 'Music_Misc' folder
REM replace folder with something relevant to you
  dir /s/b > F:\Music_Misc\all_Music_Library_paths.txt
  pause

--------------------
