I don't believe you can. LMS wouldn't use them in any case. It starts with cover.jpg (or folder.jpg or an embedded cover) and creates the different sized copies and caches them. If you really want to do so, there _is_ a setting to allow you to disable the pre-caching of resized images during scanning. See the web interface's Settings > Options > Advanced > Performance > Artwork Pre-caching. However, the pre-caching is designed to speed up the various user interfaces, so unless this activity is really slowing down your library scanning, I wouldn't disable it. One thing, however (I'm not positive, maybe someone else could say for certain): By having embedded covers in every file, I believe LMS will use the embedded image instead of cover.jpg, so you're forcing LMS to resize and pre-cache an image for every single audio track, rather than having to do only one image per folder. If I'm correct, you could reduce the number of images that LMS resizes and caches probably by a factor of 10 or more. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102128 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list ripping@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
