I can't see the connection between rdimport and the sound card not working.
someone else asked if you were using ALSA or JACK to configure your sound card. If alsa you should have a /etc/asound.conf which should be set up as per http://rivendell.tryphon.org/wiki/Configuring_Rivendell_to_work_with_ALSA try running aplay -l at the command prompt and post the result the more I read your post the more it looks like your machine is giving the outputs on the Delta 66 different numbers each time it boots. It is possible to get alsa to insist on the airplay audio going to out 1 & 2 rather then take the random 'pick a number' you are getting now the aplay -l will tell how your sound card(s) is/are seen regards Robert PS where are you.. what time zone On 21/08/2011 17:52, Logan Corliss wrote: > The rdimport process went fine.
