I have a hackish system with macros for video playback/scheduling.
Controls vlc for actual playback of videos. Big problem: basically
starts a new vlc "window" for each video. (Need to check how bad this
is with pre-prepared, same spec videos.

Freej shows promise to eliminate this issue, but the version in my
repos does not do audio playback from the video files. Supposedly
there is a version in the version control that can play audio but I
haven't made the time to compile and try. (This is currently just a
fun project for me although I can see it being a future money earner.)
