Yes, that is how I set mine up. If this was my box I would have it: /home/rivendell-2/rivendell/music_101/*.mp3 or if your extensions are upper case /home/rivendell-2/rivendell/music_101/*.MP3

I have had some success parsing XML files that my old system provides and then having a program manipulate Rivendell's database directly to save some of the work but its quite a hacked piece of software (I didn't bother with all the interfaces/code comments and the like which would have made it easier to translate to different XML formats/field names).
