I open a terminal window and run rdadmin. rdadmin screen pops up, but the terminal window remains open behind it. I log in as admin I choose "Manage Groups", select the one I want to delete, and click on "Delete". The error messages appear in the terminal window behind rdadmin. However, after a few minutes the group finally got deleted. So I'm not sure if this is an error with consequences I care about after all.
