Wayne, Thanks. I should of mentioned in my initial post that I used your guide as a template in setting up both Jack and Pulse Audio and was a HUGE help. Thanks again! In other words, everything looks like your pictures, etc. It's just that the red box shows up and I have no idea why. Let me tweak the JACK settings and see if that helps.
Also, you mentioned something in your 1st reply about not using the startup script that waits for JACK and loads the daemons anymore.
