Hi Fred B
Hope I'm not jumping to conclusions here.... but I presume the file
you are downloading from the windows machine with rdcatch is something
you've made using something like adobe audition or something similar?
News Ads or something?

I do this kind of thing with dropboxes on the linux machine.
In the /home/USERNAME directory I have a folder called "dropboxes"
which is shared using Samba (smb). I made separate folders for each
program inside this. And then I just drop mp3 files into this folder
from the windows machine. I map it as the "Q" drive on the windows
machine. I tried copying pcm-wav files over the network, but my
network was too slow and rdimport started importing before the file
was fully copied across the network and ended up being half the
length.

Many thanks
Geoff Barkman
