I am looking for brief info on new HDTV OTA TX's if anyone works for broadcast concern that has both radio and TV.
Are the TX's fully programmable with full remote programming/monitoring and control? Within the design passband of the antenna. are the transmitters remotely programmable/synthesized to allow changes in frequencies/channels? What parameters are usually monitored that would cause a failover to stby tx at a different geog site? ( ie high VSWR etc) Can the power levels be custom programmed based on time of day or system clock, like a macro item in an RD log for instance?
